JESA OCP is currently seeking Maintenance Planners for positions in Jorf Lasfar and Safi.

JESA (Jacobs Engineering SA) is a joint venture between the Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP), the world’s leading exporter of phosphates and derivatives, and Jacobs Engineering Group, one of the largest providers of technical, professional, and construction services across various industries.

This joint venture aims to support OCP in developing the necessary infrastructure for the Jorf Lasfar chemical platform and the overall phosphate industry.

Currently, JESA employs over 250 people, with one-third being of different nationalities. Our recruitment goal is to hire 150 more employees by the end of the year.

JESA OCP is recruiting Maintenance Planners who will be responsible for overseeing the safe, effective, and efficient planning of maintenance work in a phosphates concentrate facility. The main focus of this role is to develop comprehensive job plans and revise them throughout the workflow process.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage and comply with established EHS&S (Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability) policies and procedures while executing job planning duties.
– Utilize an understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), predictive and preventive maintenance, and materials management processes.
– Develop and deliver work scope, perform bidding activities, generate detailed job plans and procedures, identify required parts, estimate costs, and identify coordination issues.
– Stay informed about budgetary constraints and accurately allocate costs to the appropriate assets and work orders.
– Prioritize planning workload to accommodate shifting priorities.
– Possess a department-specific understanding of process and equipment.
– Actively review feedback from the field and make necessary adjustments to future similar plans.
– Work closely with Procurement and Maintenance teams to manage changes in spare parts and repairable spare inventory.
– Consult with operations and maintenance personnel to refine job plan scope details or intent, including determining the need for MOC (Management of Change).
– Generate detailed planning requirements to execute the identified work, leveraging all relevant resources, materials, and equipment.
– Conduct in-field planning assessments as needed for job plan development.
– Be available during execution to clarify job plans and optimize results.
– Provide support for reactive work planning needed to execute tasks as directed by the Manager.
– Attend and actively participate in TA/RD/DD (Turnaround/Shutdown, Revamp, De-bottlenecking, and Debottlenecking) area core team meetings for planning purposes, as required.
– Assist in resource loading, coordination, execution, and completion of projects (e.g., inspections, TAR job plans, startup coverage) when requested.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) in Construction or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).
– 5 to 10 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years in maintenance.
– Specific experience in the position with relevant industrial experience of more than 5 years.
